Not really looking for critiqué but I do welcome it. I always like to hear what others have to say :)
edit: =_= was hoping that they would be side-by-side in the forum. Maybe with a higher-resolution they will be. I'm running 1280x1024.

I really like the second one but (as already mentioned) the first one is just too dark.

Yeah, I was having some serious trouble lighting it. If I added any more light I just got hot-spots or blown highlights.
I took a shot of my white guitar (exact same body as this one, just even more beaten up :D), I might process that one and see how it compares.
That said, I kind of think the fact that it's really dark is fitting.

Huba huba... sorry, I'm a bit love-struck

Edit: words got away from me there. Also think the dark is fitting - it's supposed to look beasty :D
...and then that Les Paul....

It looked a bit like the epiphone les paul special..... but now I'm thinking ESP Ltd EC1000 ASB Electric?
(lucky for me I'm the drummer, not the guitarist!)

My guitar is a Peavey Vortex 1 (I have a white one too :D), from 1987 (older than me :D)
The other is a LTD (ESP) EC-1000 Deluxe. It's my brothers

Well you got the model down EXACTLY (the only difference you can tell in that image from stock is that I put on a set of pickup covers).
Yeah, I intended for the pics to sit side-by-side but the POTN forum layout doesn't extend to allow that.

I knew it wasnt a Les Paul but thought it might have been a PRS.

Granted it's not my guitar, but if I were to get a PRS I'd get a double-cutaway design (probably a superstrat/strat variant). Mainly because I've started to play more prog metal (ie Dream Theater, Opeth, etc) and easy high-fret access is so necessary and none of my guitars have it :(
