Hi folks. This image is the result of a 360° pano (1 row) shot in the courtyard of Washington's Chapel in Valley Forge Park, Pennsylvania. It was shot at 15° increments with each shot in portrait mode at 24mm. Each segment was shot at -2, 0 and +2 EV and the resulting image sequences were stitched together in full HDR workflow in Hugin. The resulting EXR was autotonemapped in Photosphere and tweaked in PS. The day was very overcast and the sky was featureless gray, making for bad skies but for uniform, albeit drab, lighting of the structure. The pano was then transformed to a mirror ball in Flexify2. If I had had more time I would have shot an image of the ground where the tripod sat to eliminate the "pinch point" at the center of the mirror ball transform.
Pretty fun stuff- it would make a good clock face.

Nice! Thanks for the "how I did it" too.

FYI - Here is the 360° lat-long panorama after auto-tonemap. Hugin does a great job with minimal interaction (I did use a tripod, leveled it, used mirror lock up and hung a backpack from the tripod to steady it).

For a second there I had to make sure it was water in my glass. Good shots but does remind me of the way things have looked on a good Saturday night. Room spinning etc..
