I'm looking for ideas on how to improve my site. I have some things I think should be changed but don't want to influence any critiques. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks!

I like the design of the site, its simple and easy - as it should be. Suggestions would be:

Put something on the "about" page - I'm not a fan of "under construction" pages. If you have no content for it, then remove it completely.

I would clean up the contact page, put it into a real form, etc.

I expected to be able to click on to your logo (left of the nav bar) to get to your home page - that's normal web interaction. In fact it took me a fair bit to realize that your "portraits" link actually is your home page. That's a bit confusing

Also I'm curious about your creative commons licensing. Do you put pics from each shoot on the site, so folks are welcome to just take and use them as is? Or do you only publish this one gallery for use?

IMHO, here are the two notes:

1) The OOF->IF effect worked for about 2 pages than it annoyed me. My eyes kept getting out of focus and I would have to look away and look back to be in focus. But that could be just me.

2) You need a better start up page. Something that tells the visitor who you are, how to get around, what's here. etc.

The site looks good, I do agree that the transition between photos stays out of focus a tad too long.

Second the about me section has a "coming soon", please fill this with something! "coming soon" always makes me think of a personal, unfinished website...

Third, the font used in your pricing page should be adjusted to fit the site. Using time new roman makes it feel older, use a font like Tahoma or Century Gothic and you will see how much it can improve the look of the page.

Although I have 3 critiques I do think the site looks great! Excellent work.

Just wondering if there might be an issue with Molson Breweries. molson.com

Shouldn't be. It's my name and we are in completely different areas of business.

Thanks for all the feedback, this will all help!

Hi Molson,

I have to say that I agree with the OOF comments, prehaps try making it shorter or less severe?

I like the layout and style of the intro/portraits page.

I would try and smarten up your prices page (This is the kettle calling the pot black!! I need to do mine to).

Regards, Davy

Thanks for the feedback Davy. Can you explain what you mean by "smarten up" the pricing page?

Agreed, and my first impression. Click on a photo and the transition adds effect, but the transition time, if configurable, should be cut in half.

love the pics. however, i would choose a different font for the content of the site though. and make that about section content a little clearer. what i mean by that is, it kinda reads like the sentence is grammatically wrong, which makes you have to re-read it to make sure you were reading that right. otherwise, nice site :)

I changed the transition between photos, I liked it but obviously there were issues with it. I will update the rest when I find some time! :)

Thanks again for all the feedback it is definitely a big help.

What I mean is that at the moment it looks like a list of text, I'm not a designer or anything so I'm not sure how to go about it but I just thought that it looked a bit bland at the moment.
