Backgrounds are distracting. In the first a tighter crop and maybe shooting from over to the right if possible would provide a better view of the upper falls.
In the second the sign is half cut off.

Hope you dont mind i played around with the cropping and depth of field in the first photo,
i didnt do it all, just to give you an example.

If you are going to allow people to adjust your images, please go to the user control panel (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/usercp.php) and enable the Image Editing OK
You will find it here (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/profile.php?do=editprofile). Scroll down to the Additional info tag.

I don't mind Tupper, and how did you add dof?
For the quick job, i lassoed the area needed to change and then just applied the filter: Lens Blur where you can change the amounts etc.. Quite handy if you get your dof wrong.
