Need logo suggestions..drawing a blank.

I have registered my childrens portrait business name as Lenz Magic Photography. There is one other business of the same name but it's in another country so I wasn't concerned that my brill idea had already been thought of by someone else:rolleyes:

What's got me stumped is ideas for a logo. Want something that's simple, and stylish but fun seeing as though I am aiming at a young clientele.

My only idea is a lens next to a magicians hat with stars etc, but wonder if that's too cheezy. Anyone have any suggestions?

Would your customers recognise that it's a lens? Maybe a magic wand waving over a camera, leaving magic stars behind...

maybe a wand waving over a lens that's been edited to look like a top-hat with the front element up, and some (small) different coloured stars surrounding the end of the wand.

Spend a little money and let a pro desgin something. The Logo Loft (http://www.thelogoloft.com) did a great job for me.

That $$ was the best I ever spent for growing my business and I have a HIGH QUALITY logo that can be used any way I want ...they provide all the formats you would need.

I Like your idea Garry...a camera would be better than a lens, but I would make it a prominent lens on the camera to keep true to the name.
I like what Logo Loft does Matt. If I can decided exactly what I want I may be able to get away with the cheaper package too....but maybe bronze is safer.

I used the bronze package as well.... I really liked 3 of the 4 they desgined. Then you can revise from the originals if needed. All I did was described my business, what I was looking for, ideas I kinda had and logos of others I liked. Really easy process.... best luck!
