I tried to think of some great title but I guess they are just old barns!

I like barn pics too. Your picture reminded me of growing up in Wisconsin.

The building in front might be a granary rather than a barn; could be either, though. This farm looks very inviting. Is it for sale? :) I love pictures like this - brings me back to a simpler time when things were good.

Great shot and you never know what you'll find on the inside, the craftsmanship of the post and beam barns amazes me.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Bodryn ..... yes you are right about the grainery ...... a "corncrib" in this part of the world. Maybe not so inviting though when you see the rest of the property! This is the house that goes with it!

Sadly enough there are way too many abandoned farmsteads like this in this part of the country and way too many of these beautiful examples of craftsmanship and history wasting away!

It's nice to see that, You dont see any barns around here anymore. Everything is being plowed and houses are going up like crazy.

I like the shadow in the furthest barn.
Woodsmith, do you ever get reclaimed lumber from these old barns?

Excellent shot - Reminds me of my grandmothers farm in Boonville, NY
