eww a spider!

so i saw this web yesterday and when i went outside today i found this in there!! i ran up 3 flights of stairs to get my camera and started taking pictures, but then got really nervous and creeped out!

I've got lots of these particular spiders in my back yard. I posted some night shots in this forum a few weeks ago.

Anyway, mine have never caught anything that large in their webs, mostly japanese beetles and smaller insects.

yeah there were 2 cicada's and my dog ate the other one....we were wondering where the second one went....lol the spider found it!
