First try at shooting insects, pretty fun! Had some fun shooting these guys the other day, I guess its a moth, never seen a moth eat nectar before though. Its pretty cool seeing them with there tongue(or whatever its called) in the plant then into their mouth.

Clubbed antennae, wings folded up like that, usually a butterfly. Good detail in some of those shots! :)

Lovely series - Skipper butterflies- often mistaken for moths.

Great shots. I never can get our skippers to hold still long enough. I find them really flighty.

moths don't have the knobs on the end of the antennae - either pointed or fanned.

Definitely a Skipper, I remember making the same mistake when I bagged my first one. Great shots.
