Haven't seen a hoax EOS picture for a while, I have often wondered with these can actually hurt Canon, so perhaps they are actively trying to get rid of the hoax images from the web as a form of brand protection?

I can't reveal my sources, but word is that Canon is studying that layout with some modifications for the new "1" series with video. After all, you need fade buttons, Play/FF/RW, etc. :D
