This is a friend of mine, he is currently serving in Iraq. This is a picture that he sent home, not sure who took it or with what, but I thought I would share it.

Medic? Nothing wrong with that. But, I don't think so. Notice the soldier in the skip loader who appears to have the same shoulder patch. That, together with the long line of equipment leads me to believe that these soldiers are in some sort of construction corps.

No problems at all, just far from stereotypical "hot zone" pictures.

I'm not sure what his projects are over there, but he was doing shipping and receiving of cargo and such – he was part of the reserve unit. Very good Observations VegasGeorge. I'm going to Vegas this weekend, I can't wait!!!

1. Medics don't wear crosses on their uniforms like that
2. That isn't a "cross", it is a unit insignia. Not sure which division it is

yeah... but I was kinda confused about that though... doesn't seem to be the "medic" cross.

What in blazes are you talking about? What is political about praising the hard and dangerous work of a bunch of people who are following orders? You're the one who has turned it into a political issue ...

What the heck?
If you have a problem with it DON'T POST. You are trying to stir up trouble and make people mad. You already made a USMC mad.
Go back to France.

I'm sorry but "They are doing a great job" has nothing to do with photography, it's a political opinion.

I think your comment was way out of line. YOUR opinion is the political one and you should have kept it to yourself.
