Hello
I have a Canon A85 and Zoombrowser 5.6 on Windows XP.
I download using Canon's software.
At the end of the download, Zoombrowser loads.
But I don't need Zoombrowser at all!
How can I disable Zoombrowser's opening at each download?
Thanks

Right click your camera in your explorer window. Choose autoplay. You should be able to define an action for when the computer identifies the camera.

It's not a metter of registering.
When one connects the camera to the computer for downloading pictures, Canon Camera Window loads itself for this task.
Once the downloading task is finished it automatically promts Zoombrowser to load.
I just don't want Zoombrowser to load.
How do cancel this?

I do not find this option - autoplay - when trying to duplicate your suggestion. I tried with both my G9 and A620. The camera has to be connected in order to display in the Windows Explorer list of attached hardware.
I believe an easier solution is to uninstall ZoomBrowser. I also assume you are using either Windows XP or Vista, and now when you connect the camera to your camera and turn it on, in Playback mode, it will be detected by Windows and allow you to use the Windows features to download from your camera.

I don't think you got it.
Please read carefully.

---OR---
Another software to do the one AND only task of picture downloading from camera to computer.
TTTssss TTTssss! I knowm Windows does it but it don't create the needed "Year/month/day" folders. Only a mess!
Thanks

Hopefully someone with experience with this software will arrive to help you. Either software might have a setup property for autolaunch. They may be inseparable.
I use windows' photo picture downloads because I like the year/date stamp

Yep, I didn't read your initial posting correctly, sorry.
I looked through settings in CameraWindow and Zoom Browser to try to find something like Preferences to allow you to choose whether ZB would launch after download, and I could find nothing. It does appear at this point that Canon has them joined at the hip, so to speak. There is nothing in the software manual that comes with the camera either.

I recommend trying Picasa from google as an alternative. You might find features that are useful to you if you do.

Hello
I found a solution.
I just uninstalled Zoombrowser.
Now I can dowenload my pictres from camera and nothing else happens once finished.
Problem solved.
Thanks you all!
