Memador Albums...Pictures included

I ordered my first Memador Album and had them design it. I wanted something high end to offer other then Graphi.

I am so impressed with this album and even more so with the company and the customer service. I have spoken with my rep Jay, so many times we know each others voice.

It's a great company and if you're looking for something good, check there.

Hey how you doing..still not in Troy yet, well I've been, I spent 3 weeks, then I just came back from the long weekend, hope to get back there in Sept. Jim is working hard on the house. I should be there mid Dec. for good!

Did they do any processing on the images, or do they just take your image as-is and lay them out?

they took my images as is, they did however add a few details to one or two but all processing of images was done by me, then uploaded sent and they did the rest. They send you the finished product to view to make sure it is "ok" and wait for your approval before they print.

So you just sent them JPG via email, then they printed? And are the prints in these albums just in plastic inserts that are then attached to the album? Or printed and binded all as one?

I don't really want something with a plastic sleeve that each photo is in, but it's hard to tell what these are by the photos.

They look like they have some beautiful layouts and designs though.

That book was produced by them, but I'm working on one myself and it's very easy and their templates and foregrounds and backgrounds are amazing and allow for so much creativity and it's very easy, I can do it!!!

It's not a plastic sleeve insert, the photo's are right on the pages, the pages are thick, and nice.

I would definitely NOT order from Memador. Through our wedding photographer we ordered a beautiful large album, which started falling apart after just 2 months. The cover had ripples and the binding was coming apart. After talking to the rep Jay, they sent another album, but they put the wrong cover on. They finally sent a 3rd album, which also started falling apart with the laminated pages curling. Of course, after having issues with 3 albums we did NOT want another one. The company REFUSED to refund our money and does NOT fully stand behind their work. After pulling apart one of the rejected albums we learned that the construction is VERY poor, the glue is not of high quality and they use double stick tape to hold things together. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone who would like an album to last!!

I'll be honest..I LOVED the albums and my clients loved them and the pages.

You can still purchase them from Israel but the guy in Israel is very hard to deal with is lacking in business skills so, we dropped them.

The memador we knew from Texas was basically a band of marketers. They had NO idea what they were doing

Jay I felt was a close friend, but when Memador left without saying a word, jay disappeared as well, even his cell number was closed.

They've been closed for well over a year.

They are going strong in the UK but I am not sure I will be using them anymore. Sadly there quality control isn't really up there for an album that isn't inexpensive.

Their quality here was awesome, and those thick pages got my clients saying wow every time.

Even at a bridal show once a group of togs gathered to check the books out and all of them wanted to know what they were.

honestly I've not seen pages like that since. Close but not like that.

Now those covers they needed a lot of help, they were gawdy and the colors were horrid

I've moved back to Graphi after being around the world with album companies.

My problem was with the covers. I got back covers that had rips and a poor finish. I did notice that the gloss pages were very susceptible to scratching. The presentation box they come in were placed in too small a box for posting and the tops were crushed.
