Good value shoulder bag?

IMO a not functional bag is not "good value"...

This doesn't look like a bag you can work out of IMO. And for me, that would be a requirement.

Billingam is very expensive, but excellent value IMO.
Domke is cheaper, but good value as well.

i have a replica of that
ive used it for a year or 2
it was a perfect sized shoulder bag for me

but the quality didnt last
since it doesnt have a zipper and relies only on the front clips to hold the top down...the clips are pretty much the only support when you use the top handle to carry the bag

over time..the material holding those clips to the bag fail

also when you forget to clip the cover down and you reach for the top handle to carry the bag...all the contents spill out

mine also had a horrible squeak because the side loops for the shoulder strap were made of plastic...even the shoulder strap clips were made of plastic

I have the Nova 5 and it's a great bag. I use it as my second bag for weddings. But the I think the OP was saying for the value, the cost is very low on that one on ebay.

if you replace the shoulder strap with a shoulder strap with metal hooks...it will be a great value bag
it wont fit a 70-200 F2.8 tho
but it fit my 70-200 F4 "ok"...it closed without a noticeable bulge

Looks like a decent bag for the price.
