A few samples from hundreds of shots atken at this event. Some really great football going down and despite having been assigned to cover the midday games (at 11am and 2pm) I had a blast. The sun cooked us down there and needless to say created some lighting issues that made things really tough. CC if ya like, hope you enjoy...

All very nice.... well done. But don't let me hear you complianing about shooting daylight football games. Could be much much worse. All of these are very classic poses\captures. Makes me almost want to go back and shoot some highschool ball.

Yeah i'd give anything to shoot day games...can't get anyting close to that at night with in highschool lighted fields.

thanks Mark and in retrospect, you are 100% correct. Harsh daylight wins over poorly lit HS stadiums anyday imo. I knew this could be a decent sales opportunity through MaxPreps so I went for a lot of the classics. I have some more in the trench action on the MP site but for the most part, I wanted images that made parents go ooh ahh, or both.
