Entering shots at county/state fairs

I decided to enter some things in the fair this year. There is nothing in the rules bout the paper the shots are printed on. Would you stick to glossy or matte only? I really love the effect of metallic paper on certain shots but I don't know if that would give me an unfair advantage.

Somebody tell me I am making this too hard... :cry:

If it isn't against the rules .. it isn't cheatin'

If it were me, I'd want to present my work in the absolute best possible way!

(Is there a comittee or such you could contact and ask?)

I might could reach a committee member...I will email and see what I find out.

My gut says it is OK but I don't want to get the boot. I would rather get shredded by the judges. lol
