Desperate transportation!

Found this Cuban Refugee boat on the sought shore of Key West this summer while down there on vacation. We were doing some Geo-Caching and stumbled on this primitive craft. We could only imagine crossing the 90 miles of ocean that these brave souls endured. Apparantly they made it.....when we asked some border patrol officers at a local restaurant about the boat, they knew nothing about it at all!
