Local paper asked me to shoot our local college game today (D2 or D3). I've shot some HS, but never college. Are there any rules I need to be aware of? Suggestions on where to get the best shots. I am thinking 15 yards or so down field from the line of scrimmage, goaline, when close.
Game time is 6:00 pm, so we'll go from sun to lights.
My gear is 30D and 1d2, 70-200 2.8IS and Sigma 100-300F4. My plan is to use the Sigma on the 30D and 70-200 on the 1d2, that way I have a larger range to capture. I'll take my 24-105 as well as 15-30 for some wider shots.
