View Full Version : Will i need a pc/hotshoe adapter to hook AB units to my Xti?

I have an xti and I am wanting to purchase a couple of AlienBees flash units. Will i need a pc to hot shoe adapter or will it connect to my camera without one?

You'll need an adapter. You can get one from Alienbees (among many possible sources).

Another possibility is to use one of the many radio trigger systems available (the transmitters mount on your camera's hotshoe). But it's good to have a hotshoe adapter and PC cord as a backup.
