Unfortunately, I lost a lot of my pictures due to my external HD failing.
But here are some I had saved on my card.

I like #6. I actually like the effect that the flare has as well as the angle of the shot, especially compared to the straight ahead shot of the bell.
#8 is also a nice.
#2 and #9 are OOF.
There's just too much space in #3 and the building "feels" chopped off.

#1 and #7 are awesome. I might have left the ER in New Yorker black & white in the first image if you were showing it later on as a stand alone image so that the focus was more on the flags alone. My eyes were right to the flags and then directly to that ER in red stealing my interest from the main focus.
How does it feel being a tourist in NY? You did a great job.
I was expecting the Statue of Liberty too.
Hey, if your gong to take us on a tour of the city, go all out! Its just another 30 blocks walk..... hahahaha

#2 and #9 were actually taken while I was stuck in traffic, thats the main reason why I think it is OOF. The empire state building was actually taken through the sunroof blindly on max burst. :o

That must be an awesome experience for her living in the city. I wish I could afford to live comfortably in the city.

I will readjust the image and remove the saturation in the picture. I agree with what you said about the letters being a distraction.
I love the City and try to go out there as much as possible when I am visiting. Those pics were actually taken on my walk to and from B&H, where I actually just picked up a Telephoto lens and should post some more pics later tonight.

Good captures, though I find myself searching for the human element in most of the shots. When are you coming back bimmer?

Thanks. I will actually be here until weds. I usually visit twice a year (August & Winter), but I hope to move back sometime next year after my lease is up in FL.

I notice a shot of the street sign at 34th & 9th... don't suppose you just walked out of B&H with some new goodies? LOL

Yes unfortunately that store is like a candy store that will only empty your bank account. I was sucked it by a lighting seminar and ended up leaving with a bunch of random accessories that day which included a monopod.
BTW I posted the edits for pictures 1 & 4 based on the C&C received.
