Birds

I went to the zoo today and I shot some birds. I may want to say that most of the photos were taken behing the glass, so I tried to do my best so that became unnoticed. I used my 70-210m and the Rebel D. I would like some comments please.

I want to say that I´ve never had shot birds before and I did find it very interesting and fun. Their colors are marvelous!

They are some great looking birds. That toucan? with the yellow front is just brilliantly coloured !
You did a good job eliminating glare and reflections from the glass..you mentioned it was there and I still can't see it.

You've got a good eye for the birds. The composition is very good in all of them - a little different sometimes, but pleasing.


The first two look a little dark and have a lack of contrast which must be because of the glass. Increasing the contrast can often eliminate the dullness. And don't be afraid to add a little saturation to colors like this!
