View Full Version : Japanese buddhist temple - Huge !

Shot this a while ago. This temple is called "Todaiji" & has got the biggest wooden "Buddha" statue in it. Its simply huge. Its a international heritage & I heard it is the biggest "all wooden" structure" in world. There are claims mentioned near temple though :-)

This is the statue inside temple. It was very poorly let & this was the only angle I could shoot at ISO 50 & very slow shutter without ppl spoiling camera view ...

Micheal, this is the famous "Todaiji" temple in Nara. If you take a day trip to Nara, you can cover a lot of such temple's.
