I like the captured scene and the atmosphere of the photos very much. But when I look at the actors, I defenitely miss the sharpness on their heads/faces. ;)

The dancers asked me to take some shots for their portfolios after one of the performances so we got the lighting re-set for the scene and as they went through the dance I had them stop and hold poses. The closeup was from about three feet. ;)

Thanks, Marie.

Thanks for the comment. :) I used a Canon G3 for all the shots, handheld. I should have bumped the ISO up but didn't think of it at the time.

You are right about the sharpness - and you are looking at the best ones from the series. These were all handheld shots with ISO at 100 on my G3. I should have been at 400 or 800. :o It was a good learning experience. I now use a Rebel and a 1D MkII with f/2.0 and f/2.8 L lensesfor stage shooting. I wish I had the chance to shoot that scene again. :)

Thanks for the comments.

Thanks. I didn't know what I was doing and got lucky on a couple of shots. ;)
