Hi,

I am looking for a bag I can fit ALL my equipment in, and have everything EASILY accessible.

Currently that is: -

EOS5
D60
5 lenses (2 zoom)
2 Flash guns
2 Battery chargers
Digital Wallet
all accessories, batteries, Film, filters, etc, etc

In the near future to also be able to hold a further 2 lenses 100 to 400 zoom, +, +.

All the large bags I have found don't seem that big, or cost the earth :(

Any suggestions for a shoulder bag I can get hold of in the UK that can cope ?

Thanks.

I think you need a "Ford Transit"

I always go back to Tamrac, look at their range. I am always amazed at how little people want to pay for a bag that will hold thousands of pounds worth of gear. The bag you are looking for even if it costs £200+ is a good investment to protect your gear, isn't it?

I am a musician and a bag to protect my Flugel, Trumpet, and Cornet only cost £150.....One of the best available. Same sort of value, so why should it cost so much more when it is for my Camera equipment?

I don't have a specific bag suggestion, but two observations that I have made recently that I would like to share with you.

I recently bought a backpack from Lowepro. It was one of their mid size packs and held everything I wanted to carry with ease including my biggest lens, the 70-200 IS.

Now the observations: What I didn't consider was the purchase of an extra lens or two and flash. Think of this when you buy a bag and it will last longer. Secondly, and possibly more important when you choose a bag, remember that unless you dismount your lens everytime you store the bag, you will have to configure the camera position to hold the largest lens you have as well as configure another position in the bag to hold that same largest lens in an off-camera position. The bag I bought will hold my largest lens on camera or off camera, but I have to move the dividers around to accomplish this. Pain in the backside when you want to put the camera in quickly and move.
