Okay ever since I have gotten my A300 it doesn't work right, i have windows xp, and so i had to download the new driver from canon.com 6.0 and when I install it, it says it needs to find file usbscan.sys well i did a search on my computer and found it in my windows drivers files, and click it, and then it installs, and I can use Zoombrowser or any other image program, then as soon as I restart my computer or do anything like that, next time i start the program it doesn't recognize the camera again, and I know it's cause this usbscan.sys that it's not finding, can anyone help me?

You got the WIA driver, not the TWAIN one, right?
Do you have a scanner installed on your PC as well, or another camera?

Try to see if you can uninstall any equipment that shows itself as a scanner on your computer and this may fix your problem.

Also, consider using a compact flash card reader. It is quicker, cheap, and more reliable and won't cause this problem.
Good Luck.
