Hi All,
Last weekend I did an E-shoot for the first time. The couple was really great to work with and took direction pretty well. We did it at Jones beach on long island about an hour before sundown. I had a blast doing this kind of work and really want to get into it more. Here are a few of my favorites, I welcome all C&C

May I also add that I have been a lurker here in the Wedding Forum for awhile now. I have drawn inspiration from a lot of the work that I have seen here and applied it to my own style. I believe there are many a talented photographers in this forum and I know I have much more to learn before booking a wedding gig, but that is the ultimate goal here!!!

Weeding can be pretty hard work you know... it can strain the back, kinda like wedding photography! ;):D
Great photos... I really, really like the last two of the set. Great lighting, composition and I get a very intimate feeling with this couple through these images. I'm sure they're ecstatic over them!
Cheers,

I really like them. Two thumbs up Cobber! :)
I'm not sure if I like the photos where the groom-to-be is facing away and/or in the blur though, thats just me though.
I hope I can take photos like this one day.

These are all really gorgeous, great job!
He looks a little squinty-eyed in a couple, but maybe he always looks like that ;)

Overall, this is a great set - especially for a first go.
Just a few comments that may be helpful:
1. Nice capture, just try to get all the hands next time.
4. Nice composition (and great lighting). The subtle tracks in the background are a nice touch
5. Lovely shot, but maybe a touch too dark? Might just be me.
6. Other than the stray hairs which are nearly impossible to avoid at the beach, try getting more of of the groom (maybe 1/4) and have the bride looking into HIS eyes.
7. Another great shot of the bride-to-be, but the groom is out of place. Either get him a little closer and a bit less out of focus, or remove him completely.
8. Wonderful capture, pose and processing.
All that said, I would be extremely happy if my first session went (or actually goes, since I haven't done one, yet) this well.
