Taken by the Photog with my camera... she wanted to play with my cheap 50mm seeing she had nothing but L lenses...and I think here words were. "Once you go L you'll never go back"...Oh I am the short dude on the right...really the other two guys are extremely tall and I am normal...really...ok I am 5'6" on a tall day.

I really like #2

#3 & #4 are a bit too PP'd IMHO. I've made similar mistakes by reducing noise too much to even out skin tone etc. They start to look a little bit comic-ish.

Thanks for the input...

Yep it was my first real go at post processing... I ran them through Noise Ninja to help with the grain and it soften way too much... but I had to drive the exposure up so much in RAW and shot on iso expansion...I then selected drab gray wall on the back and brought it up to white.....looking at it this morning... It looks like CRAP...LOL But for my first in depth time playing in CS3.... I learned a heck of a lot from it...

#3 really wasn't PP'd I removed the shadow beside the bride and well that was about it... Without being able to use Flash in the church and the yellow lighting in the church and well I give up on my cheap 75-300 lens..I have never really gotten a sharp image from it yet... other then when I shoot the moon with it... There just isn't any sharpness to this lens...

I would have to agree that the skin has gotten way to soft and mushy in the first batch.
The lighting of the portraits you have in the second set are quite good. I presume you used bounce flash?

yes bounced and got onto my 50mm lens... instead of my crappy75-300 which is great for moon shots on a tripod.. but that seems to be the limit of this lens with my little skill..

Thank-you for taking time to look...
