I am looking for suggestions on setups for climbing photography and Canoe/Kayak photography equipment/storage. Anyone climb with a DSLR or SLR strapped to them? It would need to be secured very stable to my back while climbing, but need to be able to reach it easily after I am secured and be flexible enough to change lens while hanging on the wall, don't know how much of this I will be doing, and I am gonna start in the spring by snapping photos of climbers bouldering...(climbing close to the ground). Other than that I was wondering if anyone has any experience carrying equipment into other hostile environments, ex. would be canoeing and kayaking, maybe even skiing and snowboarding. The snow sports wouldn't be that hard, as I would think a waterproof backpack would work, but the canoeing has me wondering what to do. I would want quick access, but also need waterproof protection and having it all float would be a nessecity also. Anyone with experience on the LowePro series of waterproof backpacks? Any help would be great... I am experienced at all these sports, but new to photographing them... Thanks!
