Well, Ive had these pictures on my computer for a little while. Decided to do a bit of PP work on them.

Let me know what ya think.

This one was done with a long exposore and a lighter as the light source.

This was the same picture but instead of a lighter I used a LED booklight.

Lighting setup is somewhat limited to what you can use in Iraq, lol.

This next one was of me having some fun. We've built alittle off road course that we go around on. I got alittle carried away with the PP on this one. Mainly adjusted Shadows/Highlights and it turned into somewhat of and HDR type image.

Fun shots on a serious note. The booklight gives a unique glow.

Very interesting shots. Were both exposures 25 seconds? My exif plugin only wants to show me the first shot.

When you say "lighter" you don't mean flame thrower, do you? :D

lighter as the light source. Good scrounging to find a light source!
Both are good, but I like the mood of #2 a little better.

yes both 1st 2 shots were 25secs or close to. it wasnt set manually. i set it to No-Flash.

The lighter was just a single little lighter, but i did tweak it to put out more of a flame, lol.

Really enjoy the entire set, but I like the last one best without a doubt. For the first 2 the only critique would be to change up the composition a bit. Zoom out a little, and you don't necessarily have to put the object in the middle of the frame. Other than that, I like the post processing on all of the images, especially the last. Take care out there, and enjoy yourself on the road course.

I like that one with the lighter as a source - now that's something you don't see every day. :)
