Saturday I shot my first ever wedding. What a trip! 7.5 hrs. of non stop action!!

I just finished my first edit of 1072 shots, culling those down to 887 keepers. From those, I'll present the B&G with about 400 or so shots.

I gotta tell you....you guys who shoot weddings every week are heros! That's a lot of damn hard work!! I loved every minute of it too!!

So, here are a few of the pics. C&C always appreciated. I've got a little more work to do on some of them. I just noticed that a few are a bit blown out.

1, 4, 9, 12, 19 are awesome!!! You did GREAT for your first wedding. Did you have a second shooter or did you run around and time manage to be in two different locations, at various times? (Hair salon vs groom side) I would think a well organized schedule/itinerary for the wedding could allow you to be at both location. Just curious how you got both sides?

Keep up the good work. As mentioned above, those shots are excellent to me. #32 is catchy fun photo...Hope no one slipped nad twisted an ankle!

I think you have some VERY nice captures that show a lot of emotion. I agree about the use of flash - it was just enough. I especially like #15 and the look on the officiant's face. That's priceless, and it's just a well taken shot to boot.
Really nice job. I'm going to carry on some of your creative ideas into my own work...
BTW, what lens were you using to get that bokeh in 11, 12, and 13?

thanks! No second shooter but I did have an assistant to help carry lights. I was basically running non-stop to get everything. I missed the brides dress hanging up shot, as she was already dressed by the time I finished with the groom and his buddies, but that was really the only shot on my list that I didn't get.

Thank you. I used a 70-200 f/2.8 for those shots. A great lens and invaluable for this kind of work.

Very nice. You told the story great. Nice colors, and crisp and clear shots. Good job!
