Which One To Buy?

I need a digital camera just because i like taking pictures... Just looking for a small P&S. I've been looking at the sd790 model and like it except for the zoom feature and no wide angle... Not looking to spend more than the cost of that camera. Also considering the sd890, sd870... I'm not a professional at all; a beginner, and I like to mess around with photochop... What do you guys recommend. Been reading about the sd790 mostly. I hear the sd890 isn't as good as the sd790 from the cnet review i believe... Thanks guys. :)

If you really need zoom, the SD series is pretty limited. Wide angle is very useful, and the sd870 is a nice little camera.

If you don't mind a little bigger, the a720 is very nice, and runs on AA batteries. It has 6X zoom BUT it has pretty slow flash recycle times. The SD series recharges flash quicker. So, if that's important you might want to stick w/SDs.

ill keep that in mind... i dont care really... but do want a rather fast camera....
