first time I've shoot a wedding where there was such a big difference in skin color ....how did I do?
BTW: This one was taken with Canon XTi (I believe it had the Canon 17-85 IS lens on it at the time)

Nice! A different take on the classic dip pose. Very neat. Although you don't really need all that wall space do you? Tighter crop would have served you better in my opinion.

I think the space is okay but I would crop tighter top and bottom just to give the couple slightly more say in the shot.
It's tough with mixed-skintone weddings to get things balanced and I think you've done pretty well. I have an urge to up the contrast as they look a little flat but I know if you do that then you'll start to lose definition in the darker skin.

DAng, and the super bright white suit too. Talk about make it hard for you! You've balanced the exposure pretty well here IMO. May i suggest a vignette on this image? it will bring the focus in to the couple more.
Edit heres a couple of quick mock ups, i adjusted the levels a bit too

Thank you!
Because I know my weakness lies in lighting I had nightmares about shooting this wedding for weeks..... when I found out the bride was not wearing white a load was lifted from my shoulders, but when I saw him walking into the ceremony in white I could have strangled him, I thought I was going to start hyperventilating! lol....
And, yes I did try bumping up the contrast, for her it was nice but not so much for him.

I think you did a great job with the couple. If he had worn a dark suit, you would have had some problems as well.
