So this is Jenny & David's wedding day back in August. A fun day. Quite a small wedding of 150 or so. Comments and C&C appreciated.

Great shots. You missed the edge of the dress in the last two

A fast prime really helps. It was dark. Though it was a bit scary. The walk was quick. Primes are great for light, but I find slower on the focusing. The vicar said I could take 1 shot and then I had to move. I shot about 5 and only 2 came out spot on. Phew! It was worth it.
Great shots. You missed the edge of the dress in the last two  Yes true. I did actually keep in main body of the dress. But I stretch out the back, which was almost veil like. I wanted it to appear as if it went on for some distance. I also didn't want a landscape shot. Point taken though.

I was more actively involved in the posing with this wedding.

Really like #2.
Great use of b/w. Color version of this I don't believe would have the same impact.

The DOF on these are incredible. I'm guessing you used the 85.

Yes, to many distracting colors without the conversion. I am annoyed that I didn't spot the shoes under the table. I tied the rest of the room. Moving the TV, tidying the desk. Missed the shoes.

I appreciate your comments. I am a fan of your work.

Yes it is. 85L and 35L. I love them. Though it increases the number of pictures I take. You loose a lot due to focus. Guest wonder why I take 4 or 5 shots of each shot. It's a challenging lens to work with.
