Kentucky Vs. Norfolk State

2nd weekend.. Light changed constantly (sun out, sun behind the clouds, no sun, sun, stadium lighting) Getting the hang of it hopefully.. Some of the first few I got edited after the ones for the paper.. C&C please.. I'm trying to get better.

Question: Some of my photos were taken in sequence, yet the colors differ (seem flatter, don't "pop" as much) what is it that I did that dulled the colors?
