Newbie : Tried some shutter action

1st DSL camera and thought I would mess around with shutter speed after 1 week of taking up photography.

Had some help with PS from a mate, but managed to get the stationary blades all by myself.

Not quite in focus, but she was moving a fair bit.

Comments would be nice to help me improve.

but managed to get the stationary blades all by myself. You did it! Now think about this; most people who shoot prop AC try really hard to blur the blades. ;)

yeah i've wondered about getting the blades stationary or in motion as well. I shot this one at a NASCAR race..it was a full size real helicopter...lol
