Here is a shot taken from this past weeks game... I think it works. C&C?

This one does not do much for me. I get lots of shots like this when the coach jumps in front of me and steals the focus.:) When I am doing a coach shot I try to get down the sideline to capture some expression.

Thank you for your input, but that wasn't the shot that I was going for.

I get it. I would just alter it a bit for it to be a keeper.

I think it would be a really cool B&W or maybe a sepia tone where he over shadows the field/players. If you wanted him as an oversee'er, then try that, he may stand out even more.

Is this what you had in mind Vinny?

I see what your talking about. I think it might look better in B&W?

Yes, or a maximum black B&W. Just Dodge and Burn the overexposed the helmets and you really get a FOOTBALL SIDELINES COACH feel, IMO. Cool touch.

I also like #2, but that is more a photo of #20 ... my eyes go right to him.

I think it would have been better if you had shot it from closer to ground level and zoomed out just a bit so you could see his whole body. He does have a commanding presence and it would have further accentuated this impression.

I'm not fond of this shot. Left-hand fingers are chopped off. Players are too far away. Around the background edges, players are chopped in half. The grandstand and spectators are a distraction. Practically no logos on coach's clothing, so it's just an anonymous person watching the game and really not coaching. Give him a prop like a clipboard or something.
