I'm a neuroscientist specializing in studying the visual parts of the human brain. Got into this field because I was doing semi-professional theater photography during my Ph.D. student years in physics. Now I'm back into photography, both shooting and Photoshop, because I have spent a career doing computer simulations of how the visual brain works and more recently doing brain imaging (fMRI). Photography is a great creative outlet linked to my profession.

SharePoint Content Manager and Advisor/Trainer to US Forces and NATO supporting the entire International Zone in Baghdad Irag including the US Embassy.
I have learned to incorporate photography as part of my daily work routine as the portal is a great place to store and share photos. I have been out here shooting MWR events, conferences, doing group photos and portraits for the military. It's been a great moral booster for the troops here and I'm getting a ton of cred and practise perfecting my art.
