Which one of these pics has the most impact for a 6foot high banner for use at wedding fayre's. There will be writing on the top and bottom.

I really like the first one. I think the sky and the architectural detail of the castle in the background will really amplify your banner. :)

between those two....number 1. number 2 has a distracting background, compared to the castle looking one of the first, and the dress is cut off in number 2

Thanks for your comments, it does make more sense with the first one as it has more room at the bottom and top for text as well.

The only issue with #1 is her face is so dark. But I agree in general it makes for a much better banner than #2.

?? Hang on a minute! On my screen the first one is the one with the tree:confused:. Well anyway, I like the one with the blue sky and the castle.

I would honestly apply both photos to show your abilities better. Each photo has its own merits by which it would stand alone. But together they show that the photographer is more of an artist!

I agree that the shot of the bride with the castle is more interesting, but the bride's face does't appear to be very sharp and also looks a bit noisey. Those could easily be issues with the reduced sized image, though.

Thank you all for your comments and the castle one it is, I can brighten up her face a bit but it is more the image to attract attention.
I will have to apply a blur over the top and bottom parts so the text stands out more.
