I'm trying to creating a new site that is colorful, fun and professional. I would appreciate some feedback on the 1 page I've created so far as a basis for the new site design.

Beta Site (http://beta.digitalredeye.com/dyn/contact.aspx)

Original Site (http://www.digitalredeye.com)

Thanks everyone,

The new site is definetly a big jump from the older one and looks far more streamlined.

Small things I would change:
- Change the color of the "event photos" button from orange to the bright blue you have near the bottom right of the page, rather then duplicate the orange sinces its already the "darkroom" color.
- I noticed u have done some of this already, but i dont know wether u did this on purpose or not. But for links or pages or stuff related to those color categories, match the colors, so any bullets or anything would be the same color as the category.
- Consider rounding the corners at the bottom corners of the page, to give it a softer look. The site seems too boxy and rectangle.
- For the large colored bullets on the right side of the main page such as the one beside "Digital Darkroom" at the top right, change it from a box, to the iris (not the entire eye) of ur logo. Would look much better.
-Somewhere on the site give a rough estimate of ur prices for some or certain types of events/durations/purposes or something. Buyers often leave and go elsewhere if they dont see a ballpark figure, as ur site may intimidate them because of the professional look they might think u charge tooo much.

Thats my 2 cents (canadian currency of course)

Avalonthas,

Thanks for taking the time to critique and offer up some ideas. GREAT idea on the center of my logo being the bullet item for the headers on the right side of the page. Take another look as I've implemented the idea; others to follow.

Thanks again,

ditto more professional looking than mine.

I like the improvment, makes it seem more like a corporate/professional based site, has boundries clearly around certain sections of photos, uses empty space well, etc.
