Nice shot, the only thing that disturbes me is that the right wing almost melts in with the background.

I disagree. It has to due with your exposure compensation of - 1 1/3. Yes it is a black subject, but on a P&S camera you don't need to under expose that much.

Looking at the image histogram, you are about 1/2 stop from having any pure white highlights, but the light is heavily weighted at the dark end of the graph. This photo could greatly benefit from lightening shadows 40% with photoshop elements and increasing midtone contrast by 10% and the white balance is much too red/warm. Overall it's an under exposed photograph.
