This '70's star now tours without his former partner but he has a great band and a fabulous light show. Guess who?  No cheating ;)

Well - the give away is in the filename.
I saved an image to my desktop, so as I could zoom in on it see.

Ingenuiety I think it's called in some circles.
Cheers.

That puzzled me too, dewmuw.
I'd like that one answered.

Who was his partner?

Jim Messina.

Loggins and Messina, you young'uns. :)

(Don't ask me to name any of their hits, I wasn't a fan. Just happened to be in the theatre for this show.)

Nice shots. Was this Bushnell? I see Wayne Newton is coming to the Warner in March.

I think I remember that  :) . He didn't do it while I was there, though. (I only stayed for about 30 min.)

Thanks. It was a spectacular light show and fun trying to capture it. I took about 25-30 shots and when I run a slide show of them it's pretty interesting.
I wasn't too crazy about the music :p

That was at the Warner last spring. I happened to be there for another purpose and the technical director (another Canon guy :) )called me in to watch for a while. He sees a lot of shows and said this was the best light show he's ever seen at the Warner.

Wayne Newton in Torrington! Can you believe it? He obviously has no idea what it looks like backstage.

BTW, Wille Nelson was there a couple of years ago and he puts on an amazing show. 3 hours and 45 minutes non-stop. Not one break! And after the show he took a snack (or something ;) ) in his bus and then came out to meet his fans. Stayed there until the very last one met him, very gracious all the while. (Got a pic of the wife with him  ) There was a CBS crew there filming a special and one of the cameramen told me they were in NYC the previous night and he stayed out until about 2:00 AM meeting the fans. I wonder if Wayne will do the same.

Went to a Farry Manilow show..with the wife..had an end seat, security came by and said if you touch Barry, you get ejected. Shortly after he went through with body guards around him...What a puss. Barry surrounds himself with body guards, Willie surrounds himself with fans. Got to shake his hand...Willie's that is back in the 70's. Seems like a nice guy.

Some of these "stars" have real attitude problems. I took my daughter to see Jewel last year and she had the entire parking lot behind the theatre declared off limits. Security wouldn't even let people walk through it. After some real great opening acts there was a short intermission. Then Jewel came out to start her set. Anybody not back in the auditorium when she hit the stage was locked out in the lobby until she did a couple of numbers then she "allowed" the people back to their seats while making some snotty remarks. We should have left after intermission. Jewel couldn't even remember lyrics to some of her songs - had a looseleaf binder she referred to a few times. A wasted evening, IMO.
