Do you have a slightly earlier shot, Marie? I think I'd like to see them coming into the shot, instead of going out of it.

I had this picture (below) on before (thanks Frank) taken last year but the above picture was taken last week and it showed a different aspect of the lads 'action' (which I liked)
they were just starting off a 'run' on their boards ....ready to go into the section where there is a turn and they shoot out of sight very quickly
it was the way they dropped their arms (in the shot above) which I liked catching ....for a change
(I only had a few seconds there so that was the best I could capture)
:)

Yeah! I love that wall :) I was only in London for four days and I spent half a day there :) I just call it a skate park because I thought it was. I like the shot with the kids with the bikes too, Just wish you had the whole piece in the photo.

many thanks
glad you got to visit there at all . its slightly hidden. a lot of the people (and there are always a lot walking by) they don't seem to notice the place. wonderful that it is kept for the boys to have the fun there. I just wondered was there another place close by when you mentioned 'park' as this place is all cement . seems to run into a kind of tunnel on a different level (I didn't go down there) ... not too sure of that though (the tunnel vision) lol
maybe it is called a skate park . I was only visiting too as I come from 'across the water' but I go that way whenever I am in London

Yes it is slightly hidden and I felt lucky to have stumbled across it. I'll have to dig up my photos of it. I dont think there's a tunnel as that would interest me even more so. Sorry Skate Park's in Australia are pretty much all concrete and they are for skate boarders and roller bladders etc So no grass there.

a coincidence since I was last here.....I read an article in the newspaper written by someone who had lived in Australia
and they mentioned the skate parks , I never knew they were called Parks until.... you said it (here first) lol
( I never thought of asking my brother who lives in Sydney)
also, just to tell you.... I found another of the pictures I took that day
it shows a little more of the wall you mentioned. maybe the designs have changed ,anyway you may like to see it
hope you dig up your old shots
I think you are right about there being no tunnel. the way the lads fly around the corner (and seemly downwards) it looked exciting, especially when they went out of sight so fast..
lol

Heh, I like that shot. Fitting T-Shirt! I wonder what that red stuff is on his hand?
I've found a few of my shots of the park but I'm having issues resizing them. Hopefully I will work it out soon!
