error 99 cf card

I shot a lot.. Maybe too fast with my D60 (over 800 shot in the same day). After that, I got an error on my card. Error 99 and I can't format my card anymore. When I try, the camera menu turn off.


What I can do to save my card?

(I don't care about the images on the card)

Had the following situation:
- used 2 32Mb flash cards in my D60 after my 256Mb cards were full. Never used these before other than in my S10
- formatted the cards in the D60
- used them until I got an error
- retrieved whatever possible (only managed this on PC)
- accidentally deleted these files of PC and emptied recycle bin
- reformatted the cards in the S10 for renewed usage
- cursed a few times after I found out about this mess.
- downloaded Photorescue and was able to retrieve all images from card including a few that where of 3-4 formats ago!!!

Great program and worth the money!
