I'm not sure what you tweaked or what you are experiencing, but what I notice is the same soft focus in my a590.

Still, for the price, it does take pictures.

What "tweaking" did you do to that sweet little A590 to get those great shots?

Cool shots.

Be the "my colours" menu wouldn't it? Boosts blues and reds, saturation, that sort of thing?

Cheers.

low orbit, you are correct my friend. The little 590 IS is capable of doing just about anything. Great manual controls...

Nice colourful shots, but the red looks a little over enhanced.

I over-did it on the reds, my fault, not the camera...

Well, Slugo, which "my Colors" setting did you use to take those great shots? I"m kinda new to digital cameras and have the A590. I usually set the colors to Vivid cause....it must be better than "normal", shouldn't it?

I set the color to vivid on the little Canon and tweaked it a bit in Picasa...

I use 'Vivid" color for all of my outdoor shots. I'm happy with the results... ;)

Here are a few fall shots I took yesterday. Just some quickies with color set on 'Vivid'...
