i'm doing a location shoot for a fly fishing company and i need to power a fog machine and fan while we are deep in the woods. i have a generator, but think it is too big/heavy to get to remote locations. are there any smaller portable power supply options that y'all have used before? i have two battery powered lights, but may need to power one or two of those as well. any advice would be great. thanks. How about a heavy-duty vehicle battery and a power inverter?

there are portable mini gennys, at least this side of the water there are.
or a car battery and one of those 12v to mains power converters?

when I was helping with music videos we once needed a fog over a pond at a remote location. I remember they considered a large fog machine,(we had a generator for the video equipment) They ended up using a cooler full of dry ice and buckets of water off camera. worked like a charm, the fog looked totally natural. Just a thought.

Forget the shoot. Do you need someone to be your fly fisherman?!?
