So I figured I should start using a light meter... I have yet to ever use one I found this on ebay and was not sure if it reads light in the manner we would need it to. I figure I would rather try an inexpensive one out first before I go blowing a few hundred on something I don't know how to use...
and does any one have any links to info on using light meters, like hot to calibrate to camera setting ?? thanks

That meter will NOT do the job you need...it measures the quanitity of light (lux) but does not convert that quantity to an exposure (shutter speed, lens aperture, camera ISO)
