I'm starting to think about branding for my company some day ...

I've come up with Arty Photography, my name is Ryan timothy and so Arty will be written as 'aRTy' View image below ...

Cute idea! But try a better font. the lil 'a' does not look like a letter, it looks like its part of the 'R' but not really, sorta, kinda.

Agreed with Mark 100%...and also I would personally refrain from using so much of the image as branding. But then again, you might want to be intrusive to prevent unauthorized duplication.

Let's see what the other fonts yield!

I wouldn't have known that the A and Y were letters. Well maybe the y, but then I ask why?
Just kidding, except about the font, I suggest using a plainer font and maybe "Bold" the R & T to make them jump out.

Definatley better! Now mabey make the a and y a bit bigger. You will end up with 3 letter sizes, but I think it will help seeing the aRTy as a word rather than some letters.

How about this?

I increased the size of 'a' and 'y' and then lowed the opacity of those a little ... Think it works? :)

Better! It is a lot easier to read as a word.

My only other thought is try different colors. Make the a and y same size but a darker blue.

I think you are 95% there. And this will do nicley. I'm only nit picking to help you get the other 5%!

"photography by Ryan Timothy" needs to be in a better font, maybe change the colour and lower the opacity.

What kind of font would you reccomend? I always get in a cufuffle with fnt, and never end up changing it haha!
