so much love for black and white

I found the white patches very stark and I really had no idea why they were there.

I also happened on this painting, so strange to find something like this in an alleyway

the large white shapes make the contrast between black and white so stark
unusual to see especially in an alley
the painting too is an unusual 'find'

I think I'm going to photograph the alleyway again, but in the daytime, perhaps early in the morning/ late in the evening. And while I think the wetness adds something extra, I definitely want to get rid of those annoying reflections.
