Question about the A590's date stamp

I just bought the A590IS and have only just begun to explore :)

I was wondering about the Date Stamp.

Can you only apply the Date Stamp to it in the 2M size?

I see nobody answered as yet and you've probably found the answer in the manual but yes, the Date Stamp only applies to the 2M size.

That's so you can take many time lapse photos.
