Took a few random shots throughout the wedding of a good friend. Seeing that the bride spends more than enough time with the official photographer i would take these more candid shots whilst she flittered about. Was wondering if there was any merit in them if one was to shoot a wedding.

Cheers

Love #1.
#2 - Unfortunatley my eyes are drawn to the brides eyes (which are not in focus) and its only then that I realise that the "focus" is on the hands. Maybe the camera angle could have been a little lower, then the level of the hands wouldn't have been quite so far away (in the photo) from her face (hope you know what I mean)
#3 - Doesn't strike me as much as #2. It seems a little too far away to have impact. Nice idea though.

[Edit] Looking again at #2, I think there is far too much of the photo "out of focus". If more of the hands had been visible, it would have made a better balanced shot.

I like number 3 a lot. I think it works well in B&W.

I like #3 a lot as well, more so because the bride and groom will get it right away.

TJ - I know what you mean and totally agree about the statement of shooting from lower down in order to emphasis the hand/ring (which was the focus of the shot). Mental note.

This was another one similar to #2 but i didn't quite like it as much seeing that she was looking down. Focus was on her eyes though.

I almost always prefer looking at '2nd shooter' shots then primary wedding photography, particularly, when the the 2nd shooter has a good eye.

Nice shots.
