So I promised another shoot. Started raining so this shoot was cut short. Let me first blow off some steam on a couple of things; one I lost half the shoot because of some CF card error.....word to the wise format cards before every shoot :( . I used the 50mm at 4.0 and it was decently sharp when I used the tripod as a monopod, but the pics I really liked I didnt use the tripod so there aren't as sharp as I would of liked. Also I hate .jpg colors compared to .psd :( Comments welcome.

Good job, Ian. Personally, I like them a lot, especially the second one. Your model has a great smile. Use it.

Looks good but may I recomend the usage of a Fill Flash.

Did you shoot that last picture with a tripod? :D I agree about the .psd colors, vs. jpeg. Is that normal to be so different?

:( I know, all I have is the onboard flash and it produces some ugly effects IMO. So until I can get a job and grab a 580ex no flash for me.

I like 1 & 3. She looks very different from the first post. Tough to get good shots in lighting like that without flash.

Ya I think it is normal. Jpeg compresses alot, prolly have something to do with limiting the colorspace.

Hm. Not enough space to shoot RAW? I always shoot RAW.

Anyway, I agree... LOVELY smile. Great pics!

No no, I always shoot RAW. I was just commenting on how when you convert a file for other people to see on the web (.jpg) it doesn't look as good as the .psd file.
